Leaving On A Jet Plane

It's 8 in the morning here on the East Coast, and here I am typing dutifully on my computer before work to tell everyone why I'm going to dissapear off the face of the internet planet for a few days. Jeepers, I'm reliable. Anyway - really, I do enjoy posting. It's entertaining and stress relieving at the same time for me, but at eight AM? I'm posting at night from now on.My brain doesn't function at this time of day very well.

As my last two posts have stated, I've been working on the template (an image of what the site will look like when it's done - a template is non-functional.) for my site. Last night, I finished it. When I get back on Monday, unless I have a change of heart, I'm going to start working on building it into a real functional page.

Now I do know what all of you, my eager internet minions, are asking. Why am I posting at eight am? Well...that's easy - for the first time, I'm going to probably not post for four days.

Why?

Jeremiah's going to Florida on Friday for a wedding. One of my closest friends is getting hitched, and this means that for the first time my blog is going to become stagnant. No new posts at all...how droll!

Any way, I'm issuing a challenge out to all my eFriends who've been hanging out with me lately. Keep the blog alive! Post lots of stuff on here tomorrow night (click "comment" on the bottom) And on Monday I promise, that like an idiot licking the frozen flag pole twice, I shall return.

"Cuz' I'm leaving on a jet plane! I don't know when I'll be back again..."

Under Construction

For those of you out here in Internet Land who've been wondering why I'm so quiet now when I'm online, I figured that I would let you all in on my secret.

My website is under construction.

That's right my fine e-friends, I've finally broken down and started to build my own website under the dubious name of "www.jeremiahspoon.com". Original name for a website? Maybe not. But I'm working on getting maybe another domain name that lends itself more stylistically to doing this.

Recording The Past

I have discovered one of the greatest pieces of electronics ever, and it is known as the "DVR". For those of you who don't know, "DVR" stands for "Digital Video Recorder", and it enables you to record tv shows (like a vcr except with no quality loss), schedule recordings (two shows at once!), and, PLUS, it looks cool in the entertainment rack.

I think it's great that when the moment hits me I can press "pause" and know that whenever I get back from whatever pulled me away from my tv, I can pick up from where I left off.

That's where this new idea for an invention has struck me.

I want one of these things for my life, not for tv. Think of it! You can pause, rewind, record, and throw out parts of your life where you might have wanted to make a different decision, or relive a favorite moment with your friend, or even go back into your life and fix wrong decisions you might have made.

Come now, you all must agree that this would be one of the best inventions ever. Well...the best ever coupled with that of peanut butter.

Now I've got to go. I paused my life to write this.
