Scheduling Time To Sleep

Well - I ended it. After 3 days of playing Doom 3 ceaselessly from 5 in the afternoon until 3 or 4 in the morning, I ended it. But I have to be honest. I used some cheat codes. The game just got monotonous. Kill bad guys from point A to point B. Get keycard. Go back to the locked door that was at the beginning of the level (on the way there kill re-spawning baddies who all just happen to not appear until you pick up a piece of plastic that means nothing to them) and make it to the locked door. Next level? The same thing.

So...I got bored. And wanting to end the boredom, I typed in some fun commands, and flew through a few walls, loaded up on ammunition and weapons, and after 50 minutes of flying, I made it to the last level where I torched the big bad boss.
How was the game? Demonic? Well, there were some demons in there, but they weren't around for too long. Where did they go? Well, let's just say that they all seemed to have this adverse reaction to my shotgun of justice. Or as I have named it - "The Redeemer".
The graphics? Phenomenal. They were simply amazing. The sound? Well, creeping around in pitch blackness with this surround sound rig always adds some quality creepy atmosphere to the game.
Anyway, now it’s time to get something to eat - and perhaps see how good the online play for this, and make it to bed tonight before the sun rises.
Time Flies When You're Having Fun

So there I was. 8:30pm, and playing Unreal Tournament 2004 with a Mr. SteelValor when he leaves for some reason. Not able to raise him on instant messenger, I decide that it’s time to put more time in on FarCry. Next thing I know, it’s now - 4:30 in the morning.
I had to look twice. 4:30? In the Morning? Oh man!
If my kitten, Cloey hadn’t of climbed into my lap to tell me she wanted to go to bed, I would have probably played for a few more hours. My body feels like the time really is 1:30 in the morning.
Anywho, I love this computer…and I need to turn it off.
Besides. Cloey’s getting grumpy, and the dread of being exhausted tomorrow is creeping in.
