Surviving My Life

Cartoons Never Get Old

I’m 24 years old, and for some reason, cartoons are still some of my favorite shows on TV. You put a superhero, sword fighter/ninja , or (better yet) a giant robot in it, and I’m there. With bells on. I’m finding Saturday nights as a really good tv night - Cartoon Network offers a plethora of original quality series that you might think are for kids, but most of the humor is directed at adults. “Teen Titans” has some superheroes running around as kids saving the world. “Justice League Unlimited” has all the DC Comic superheroes on one show! All of them! Then, the beautiful cherry on top of the cartoon Sunday is their new original series, “Megas XLR”. It’s about a giant robot that’s from the future that’s sent to the Earth in the past to save it from an invading alien army. The only problem is that it lands in a redneck’s backyard, and he takes the head of the robot off and replaces it with a ’76 Chevelle. His name is Coop and he plays video games, and kicks serious buttooski all the while flinging insults like they're going out of style. It’s a great show - You’ll have to trust me.

Anyway, I have to go. Megas XLR is back on. Quality is happening on Channel 39...

Trying Something New

So, I've decided to try something new. For some reason, I find writing out and describing the interesting predicament that is my life to be stress relieving for me.

I probably won't be the only one who thinks it's interesting.

Here's to hoping.
