Time Shift

Well, It's 11:17PM EST where's I'm at, and in around 6 hours, I'm due to get up and go to work.

It fascinates me that my alarm clock actually works at 5:00am. I didn't know they could work that early. My cats haven't figured out what I'm doing yet. I wake up, and they're like "What? Where are you going?" Same thing with my car. I get in it, and slap the keys in the ignition.

That's the time that the car says "You better have had a limb ripped off by a rabid woodchuck, because I'm not used to driving this early!"

I think that my favorite part of the whole thing is that now I seem to have the job of showing up early - and waiting.

So far, not a single employee of this company has shown up before 6:15. Tomorrow? I'm not showing up until 6:15. I mean, come on! What's the point of getting up extra early to show up and wait? I know I can't figure that out!

In any case, I've got to go to bed now. In T-Minus 6 hours, I'm supposed to be at a computer.

Staring at the screen.
