The Sunroof
Ah...my apartment. Reletivly small rooms. The fishtank purring in the corner. My computer flickering on and off with new email. The sound of my fan circulating the air.The water, falling from the ceiling in the kitchen.
It's great. I now have a fountain in my kitchen, which, let me tell you, is fantastic. I've always wanted to have inordinate amounts of water falling out of the ceiling.
Every day more of the ceiling is on the floor. Actually, the landlord is up there right now. I can hear him trudging around on the roof. I have no idea what he's doing, and I really don't think he does either. After all, my landlord's philosophy is to just add another blue tarp to the roof.
I'll tell you, that fills me with confidence.
In any case, he says he's going to fix it. I told him he might want to consider stepping on it. But, then again, if the ceiling does cave in, he can always charge extra rent to the next tenent for there being a built in sunroof.
