Myspace - The Plague

In my clan I have several clan members that have these things called "myspaces". They've asked me for awhile to check them out, and up until now I was able to sidestep the issue.

Well, I went there.

Oh. My. Dear. Sweet. Bippy.

I went. I saw. I got a migrane.

Whoever invented those things deserves to be locked in a small room with a few rabbid woodchucks.

They're ugly. They're formatted terribly. They look like a sasquatch threw up on the page. I mean - look, I realize that it's free and all, but come on! You can't tell me that my ENTIRE GENERATION has absolutely no knowledge of asthetic values! Their sites look terrible!

And that's not even the pinnacle of the problem! Some of them have music in the background. I'm not talking about cheesy midi music - nope. I'm talking about BLARING tunes - most of which have lyrics that would make Keith Richards blush.

It just goes to prove that my generation will settle for anything.

Go figure.
