My Life's Not That Hard

Today I was reading in the book of Job (for those of you following along - Job 27:1-6), and after reading everything that that man went through, it constantly amazes me.

God let the devil take away everything that Job held dear because God was proud of him. That amazes me. God was boasting about one of us! And after Job loses pretty much all of his personal possessions, there he is, still praising God.

"I make this vow by the Living God, who has taken away my rights, by the Almighty who has embittered my soul. As long as I live, while I have breath from God, my lips will speak no evil, and my tongue will speak no lies." - Job 27:1-4

This guy is the man. Loses everything, but still refuses to say anything against his God.

Simply Amazing.
