Reason #57 Why I Hate Adelphia.

For those of you not from my area, count your blessings. Here, the main broadband provider is Adelphia. And, let me tell you, their cable modems suck.

The speed of it stinks. I've had 3 techs out to my house in the last few weeks trying to diagnose the problems - and they keep telling me "nothing is wrong".

I call bullcrap!

They advertise download speeds of 1 Meg per second and uploads of 512k.

Liars.

I'm lucky if I can upload over 40k, and my dl speed is rarely over 300k. Their excuse - "It's not our network." Whatever. My friends that have Time Warner or Comcast go to the same sites that I do, and their speed is way faster than mine.

Thank God Adelphia's dying. I hate them. Poor customer service, and horrible technitians. Thank God Time Warner bought this area out.

I can't wait for them to get into the local Adelphia offices and burn them to the ground.

Then maybe they'll fix it so I actually have broadband.
